Direct-to-Provider® Communications

"We provide a more informed doctor for the patient"

In addition to alerting the individual, we communicate with their doctor and care manager.

Our Direct-to-Provider® communications help providers close gaps in care. They are designed to improve compliance with evidence-based guidelines.

Drug safety messages inform the doctor, pharmacist or care manager of potentially dangerous drug-drug, drug-condition, drug-age or drug-dose interactions.

Other messages alert providers to specific gaps related to chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes and heart failure.

We let providers know when patients are not refilling prescription and when members are not in compliance with treatment regimens.

We let them know when a person has not gotten the test they should have for a drug they are taking, or to help them manage a medical issue.

Our communications improve safety, drug effectiveness and medication adherence by connecting directly with the providers who give care.
